Use the economy to buy future control, not just more land. - Can it touch the same building type?
- Can it also match colour without opening a weak edge?
- Does the extra land remain reachable by your current defense?
Keep a control budget
Official store copy calls coins the player’s form of control. Preserve that flexibility before night rather than spending the last coin on a layout that only becomes useful after another lucky draw.
Price the coast as well as the tile
